About me:

We are all about Christ Love, Unity, and Equality and Relationship in God's family Greetings in the wonderful loving name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ: Hello, my name is Apostle James R. WinfreeSr., Houston, Texas born and raised. I am blessed and happily married to my loving wife Mrs. Betty R. Winfree for 30+ loving years and we are still going strong in our love for each other and our marriage. From this loving and holy union God has so very blessed us with four beautiful children. Our first-born is Tarsha, born in 1978 next our son James Dir, born in 1983, our next son Jeremiah J. born in 1985, and last but not least Benjamin, born in 1987 all of Houston, Texas. I have a very diversified and deeply rooted background in the word of God and in my Lord and Savor Jesus Christ, Below is a brief account of my spiritual background in our Lord's Ministry. The very first Church I joined was The First Missionary Baptist of Houston, Texas under the leadership of the deceased Pastor: Gene Moore. At the tender age of 12 years I was baptized and served as a member until I was 17. After being a member for many years under Pastor Moore I was compelled to join St. Joseph Gospel Temple, under the leadership of Apostle Joseph E. Stewart of Houston, Texas who is now with his Lord in heaven. Later the Church name changed to Jesus Christ Holy Temple Under the leadership of Pastor Clement V. Dorsey who is still pasturing the Church today. Here I was taught the word of God and heard about the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues, laugher in the Spirit and dancing all the elements of a Spirit filled Church. Here at Jesus Christ Holy Temple I was called to preach. His hand was and still is inherent on my life. I also received the Holy Spirit witnessed by my Church family, and Evangelist Mike Anderson and the beloved Mother and Missionary Florence Moss. I was called into our Lord's Ministry at a very early age unfortunately I was not really ready or interested in preaching or going higher in God. Instead I wanted to live my life my way loving sin more than loving God or ministry going back into my old ways, we call it looking back. The Lord and the Church never gave up on me; prayer was made without ceasing on my behalf. But I kept telling God and the Church I was just to young to live a saved life, I was running from His call on my life. Later on, during my 10th grade year in high school, I finally accepted the call on my life to preach God's word still with old wordily friends I kept looking back hating to let go. One Friday night with some old friends (leaving my sister home) I was on my way to a night club; drinking, and using drugs I got into a car race with some old friends going over the speed limit was in a tragic accident with no way out. When confronted by God about His calling on my life, I always responded by saying to the Church and God I am just too young to preach and live a Godly life. So while my car was up in the air and out of control, I heard the Lord's voice asked me Are you to young to die?...My response was obviously, No Lord!!!! No Lord!!!! This conversation occurred during the whole time my car was continuously flipping through the air, because I tried to avoid a collision with another vehicle. That Friday night God gave me another chance to obey Him and to preach His word. The next Sunday morning at service I repented and finally accepted God's call on my life. I have evangelized in cities, jails, prisons, convalescent homes, street ministry, churches, radio and television. During my ministry I have performed marriages, funerals and licensed and ordained ministers. (1) Born in the year of our Lord 1957 (2) Baptized in water in the year of our Lord 1963 (3) Holy Spirit Filled in the year of our Lord 1972 (4) Started Preaching in the year our Lord 1972 (5) Married in the year of our Lord 1978 ( 6 ) Certificate Of Ordination By Higher Ground Always Abounding Assemblies Inc. As Elder James R. Winfree Of Dallas, TX On This Date 21st day of February 1997, Entered in book # 5 Page # 224/ General Bishop T.D.Jakes, Vice Bishop, Dr. Sherman S. Watkins, Th. D. General Bishop. "One of the most loving blessings of being in fellowship and partnership with Apostle James Winfree & Team Ministries is that the results of the choices we make together now will echo and make changes now and throughout time and eternity!" "ONE by ONE we are making Christ Jesus Love, Unity and Equality A Reality In The Body Of Our Lord Jesus Christ!" Galatians 6:10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to ALL, especially to those who are of the HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH. Dear Holy Spirit, break down the barriers that separate us and bind us Your people together again in Your love. Raise up those among us who have fallen. Cause Your compassion to stir our hearts and impregnate us with Your purposes ofChrist Love Equality and Unity. May our chief loyalty be to You and to all who share our common bloodline in the Lord Jesus Christ. As Christ believers we have the responsibility to value all people for whom Christ said are lost. God loves His children Equally and with Unity of spirit. No person no matter what ethnic of skin color is too large, small, big, rich or poor for the love of God and ours. You can be and you must be a light and champion for the cause for change in Christ Kingdom. A light and champion is someone who wins for others and you want to see God's love, unity and equality for all in Christ Jesus Kingdom – someone who helps others achieve their goals and realize their dreams and visions– someone who is passionate about the success of others in the same family of God in Christ Jesus. A champion fights not his own battles but battles to win for others in Christ loving Kingdom. He or She is an advocate and a defender; a leader and a deliverer who fights for the rights and honor of other Believers, Christians, Saints and those who need Christ in our World, and not for self or personal aggrandizement of gain. Irrespective of your trade, position, or place, We charge you to be a champion today. God brought you into that place of influence not be served but to serve others in God's Awesome and Blessed Kingdom (Romans 13:1). In other words, Jesus Christ wants you to be a Mother, Father, Sister, Brother, Champion, a light and a deliverer a blessing a help a supporter to all in Christ family. So, be passionate about the welfare, success and prosperity of others; fight for their rights; be their advocate and defender – champion their cause of Jesus Christ. "One of the most loving blessings of being in fellowship and partnership with Apostle James Winfree & Team Ministries is that the results of the choices we make together now will echo and make changes now and throughout time and eternity!" "If we don't come together we are Saying To God, And His Son Jesus Christ His Life was in Vain! John 17: 20-23 Al Of God's Children Needs What You Can Give And Share Love is an action word. We can love those around us by our simple actions of giving. Each Of us has something to give to The Lord's Kingdom. And the people of Christ Kingdom out there needs what you can give! Giving is not about the “financial thing” only, although that is one way to express it. Sharing with others stems from our inner being; it is giving of ourselves, our talents And our abilities. Today one of the most valuable gifts we can give someone may be our Time and be true and real with your brothers and sisters in God's Kingdom. How we share our blessings, gifts, and talents with others is how we show God's love and Allow our lives to be a light to the world around us. Any time is a good time to give, however, it is especially important to give during seasons of struggle, hardship, or Transition, which you may be experiencing right now. It is easy to become self-absorbed (Self-centered), and feel we have nothing to give. But I assure you, you have something Believers, Christians, Saints needs. It may be a warm smile, or a friendly touch! I have found out through my own experiences that when going through difficult times, it helps to make a deliberate and conscious choice to give of myself to others for them to benefit from what God gifted me with and the fruits of the Life of Christ in my life. By sharing simple acts of kindness with Gods precious people, God's love would be manifested, and bring you the incredible blessings of joy and happiness and allows you to Focus on the positive side of you personal life and be satisfied. When we give to others It is impossible not to stay blessed and happy. In the time of the Holy Spirit, I Encourage you to take time to hear the small still voice within you. Be sensitive to God's Spirit in every area of your life. Find simple ways of sharing the gifts He has given you With the God's children first around you. You will, in turn, find yourself filled with joy and contentment (Satisfaction), as you become His hand extended to a hurting world. Remember, your life is A gift from God and what you do with your life is your gift to Him because you are in Christ. Lastly, giving is a remedy to the stingy hostile life the devil has taught you to abide by In the name of “its for me to eat and die.” May God bless you with the understanding of Your wealth in Christ Jesus, Amen! Until the return of Jesus Christ it is the believers duty and privilege to seek the fulfillment of Christ's Great commission and to minister in His name to all that are under heaven. We are to be loving instruments of our Lord Jesus Christ as the Holy Spirit ministers redemption and reconciliation in our world. You too, can be an integral part in this Ministry of Christ Jesus Love Unity and Equality! There are Countless ways to help and assist us with your time, efforts, prayers, and gifts. We're love to welcome you to our Lords family. For more information in how you can get involved or if you have any questions concerning this page Feel free to contact us at any time. Thank you, Apostle James & Betty Winfree and Team Ministries

"One of the most loving blessings of being in fellowship and partnership with Apostle James Winfree & Team Ministries is that the results of the choices we make together now will echo and make changes now and throughout time and eternity!!" Our Goal is to see the Whole Body of Christ United and Equal in Our Lord Jesus Christ We are hungry to know God's Spirit, hear His voice, and follow after Him. We desire that Jesus' Love, Unity, Equality, Mercy, Grace, Truth, Purity, Power, and Integrity shine through everything that we do. We honor Jesus Christ as our Head and the Holy Spirit as our Counselor. We seek to be responsive to the Holy Spirit in life and ministry. We aim first to grow personally in the knowledge of Jesus Christ and secondly to train disciples to call others into those same practices We believe that Faith, Hope and Love are essential to all that God does in Salvation. We therefore, aim to extend Mercy, Unity, and Equality to one another and to all whom we minister to. We believe that Jesus Christ has put significant Leadership authority in the hands of the Apostles, Prophets, Evangelist, Pastors, and Teachers. We aim to exercise the authority with Humility, Mercy, Grace, Love, Purity, Unity, Equality, and Care towards one another, and with a sincere desire to build up the Body of Jesus Christ. We are convinced that all who belong to Jesus Christ are "One" in His Body. We aim to maintain Equality, Unity by Honoring All who call on the name Jesus and by seeking reconciliation with all parts of the Church. We are honored by every person whom the Holy Spirit adds to Apostle James Winfred Ministries. We aim to work together to build the Body of Jesus Christ through maintaining mutual respect, open communication, determination, cooperation, believing and speaking the best about each other. We wish to do nothing for "religious effect" but rather to operate in a spiritual manner "non-hype" order. We prefer to have joy while being active in the ministry of Jesus Christ. "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are ALL ONE In Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28" Our Ministry & Vision In the New Testament Today, we have a vision. It is a vision deeply rooted in the New Testament. We have a vision this day, that the body of Jesus Christ will become "One" in Him. We Have a vision this day that the Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers, will work together in Unity and Equality side by side, hand in hand. We have a vision this day that the Words of Jesus Christ and His Apostles and Prophets will become evident in our lives. "Neither was there any Christian or believer among them that was in need because they had all things in Common in Jesus. Yes, we have a vision this day that the Church, the body of Jesus, the people of God will become "One" in Him. With this vision, we will go out and transform dark yesterdays into bright tomorrow's. With this vision we will be able to achieve this new day when all of God's people will be exalted together and when all men, Jews and Gentiles will come together and join hands while working in the Kingdom of Heaven. (Proverbs 29:18) Where there is no vision the people perish; but he who Keeps the law blessed, fortunate, and enviable is he. (Hosea 4:6) My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you that you shall be no priest to Me; seeing you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your Children. Supporting Scriptures (Num 27:16) (Ps 113:1,2) (Malachi 2:10) (John 10:16) (John 17:10,11, 20-24) (Matt 23:37) (Luke 11:23) (Matt 23:37) (Acts 2:1, 41-47) (Acts 4:29-37) (Acts 17:26) (1Cor 3:3-11) (2Cor 8:11-15) (Gal 3:28) (Eph 1:9,10) (Eph 4:1-16) (Rev 11:15) "One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism, One Spirit"

Eagles can sense and know of storms from afar off, even before they can see them. They are not afraid of the storms in life. Eagles don't think survive, but overcome. Eagles fly to the storms to lift themselves to higher places. In Habakkuk 3:16-19. Habakkuks feelings were not controlled by the storms around him, but by the faith in Gods ability to give him strength and to see him through. We need to take our eyes off of our difficulties and look to God. (Zech 4:6) God does not permit storms in our lives for the purpose of defeating us, but for the purpose of building and benefitting us. The storms of trials, tribulations, and adversities, use in life to strengthen our wings. Soar my friend, Soar. Your sister in Christ, Brown Eagle

Mark 11:22-25 v.24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours.

If we need something and we have asked for it, then get ready to receive it. Getting ready to receive it is a part of the asking, an act of faith that the answer is on its way.

We do so little to prepare for it and when it happens the first thing we say is, "I can't believe it." Believe it, because it is the assurance of receiving..... In Christ, Brown Eagle John 15:7, 16:24, James 1:5,6, Matt. 7:8, 1John 3:22, ***James 4:3

Apostle James R Winfree Sr,

"WE SHOULD REMEMBER ALL THOSE THAT HAVE NEED IN THE FAMILY OF JESUS CHRIST" It's family time with Apostle James R Winfree Sr, on we need to take our eyes off of self and help other's in God's family those that are in need! 1. The early Christians demonstrated great liberality toward the poor, especially brethren... a. The church at Jerusalem - Acts 2:44-45; 4:34-37 b. The church at Antioch - Acts 11:27-30 c. The churches of Macedonia - 2 Cor 8:1-4 2. Paul in particular was engaged in helping poor Christians... a. He was asked to remember the poor - Gal 2:9-10 b. He instructed churches on how to take up a collection - 1 Cor 16: 1-4 c. He accompanied such a collection to the needy saints in Jerusalem - Rom 15:25-26 -- It can truly be said that the early church did "remember the poor Christians and Believers in Christ! 3. Today, some are more likely to revile the poor than remember them... a. If someone is poor asking for help, they are assumed to be lazy b. If inclined to help, the poor are expected to earn what they are given 4. Yet God has chosen to bless the poor... a. In the words of Jesus - Luke 6:20 b. In the words of James - James 2:5 [Therefore a Biblical study on the subject of the poor and poverty can be beneficial, lest we fall short in our duty to "remember the poor". Let's start with...] I. UNDERSTANDING THE POOR AND POVERTY IN THE FAMILY OF JESUS CHRIST! A. THOSE WHO ARE POOR... 1. Includes those who may have absolutely nothing, or very little - . Mark 12:41-44 2. Also those who have enough to offer meager sacrifices - . Lev 14:21-22 -- One does not have to be completely destitute to be considered 'poor' B. CAUSES OF POVERTY... 1. Sometimes it is due to sinful actions on the part of the individual a. Laziness - Prov 6:6-11 b. Refusing to heed correction - Prov 13:18 c. Pleasure seeking - Prov 21:17 d. Drunkenness, gluttony - Prov 23:21 2. Other times it is due to sinful actions of other men a. Usury and extortion - Prov 28:8 b. Greed - Isa 3:14-15 c. Unfair labor practices - Jer 22:13 d. Oppression - Amos 4:1 e. Persecution - 2 Cor 8:1-2; Heb 10:32-34 3. It can also be due to natural disasters a. Plague, economic depression, war b. Hurricane, earthquake, tsunami 4. It may be due to God's chastisement a. As was the case in Haggis' day - Hag 1:5-11 b. Again in the days of Malachi - Mal 3:8-12 5. It can be due to voluntary choice a. As in the case of Jesus - Luke 9:57-58 b. As in the case of His apostles - Mark 10:28; 2 Cor 6:10 -- One cannot assume that poverty is due to laziness or wickedness [Poverty has many causes, and both Moses and Jesus taught the poor would be with us (Deut 15:11; Matt 26:11). God hears the cries of the poor (Psa 69:33), and it is interesting to note how He made provision for them in both the Old and New Testament...] II. PROVISION FOR THE POOR IN THE LAW A. AS CHARGED BY MOSES... 1. The poor were not to be charged interest - Ex 22:25; Lev 25: 35-38 2. The fruit of fallow ground during the seventh year was for the poor - Ex 23:10-11 3. They were allowed to glean the fields after the harvest - Lev 19:9-10; Deut 24:19-22 4. They could satisfy their hunger in the vineyards and grain fields- Deut 23:24-25; Lule 6:1 5. The tithe for the third year was reserved for special groups of the poor - Deut 14:28-29 6. Debts were to be canceled every seven years - Deu 15:1-4 7. Hebrew slaves had to be set free after six years - Deut 15:12-15 -- Israel was charged to be careful in their attitude toward the poor - Deu 15:7-11 B. AS COUNSELED BY SOLOMON... 1. Happy is the one who shows mercy to the poor - Prov 14:21 2. He who oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker - Prov 14:31 3. He who mocks the poor reproaches his Maker - Pro 17:5 4. He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord who will pay him back - Prov 19:17 5. Whoever shuts their ears to the cry of the poor, will cry and not be heard - Prov 21:13 6. The person with a generous eye will be blessed, having given to the poor - Prov 22:9 7. He who gives to the poor will not lack, But he who hides his eyes will have many curses - Prov 28:27 8. The virtuous woman extends her hand to the poor, and reaches her hands out to the needy - Prov 31:20 -- Such concern for the poor is a mark of righteousness and wisdom - Prov 29:7 [If the Law of Moses displayed such concern and provision for the poor, we should not be surprised to find a similar concern and provision in the gospel of Christ...] III. PROVISION FOR THE POOR IN THE GOSPEL A. AS COMMANDED BY JESUS... 1. In His sermon on the mount - Matt 5:42 2. In His sermon on the plain - Luke 6:34-36 3. In His words to one who invited Him into his home - Luke 14:12-14 -- Jesus taught we should be willing to help the poor B. AS CHARGED BY HIS APOSTLES AND PROPHETS... 1. Paul, in several of his epistles - Rom 12:13; 1 Tim 6:17-19 2. The writer of the epistle to the Hebrews - He 13:16 3. James, in describing pure and undefiled religion before God - James 1:27 4. John, in describing the love of God, exemplified by Jesus - 1 John 3:16-19 5. For needy Christians, churches were charged how to provide aid a. With a weekly collection, as one prospers - 1 Cor 16:1-2 b. With thoughtful purpose, and a cheerful heart - 2 Cor 9:1,7 6. Yet the local church most not be burdened (for its mission is spiritual, not social)... a. Individuals are to fulfill their familial duties - 1 Tim 5:16 b. Individuals have their duty to be a 'good Samaritan' - . Luke 10:29-37 -- As we have opportunity, we have the duty to do good unto all men - Gal 6:10 IN CONCLUSION WE NEED AND MUST HELP AND SUPPORT GOD'S CHILDREN FIRST IN NEED!!! 1. Can we not see why the early Christians were so diligent to help the poor...? a. They were not only obeying the commandments of Jesus and His apostles b. They were also displaying compassion that has always characterized the people of God 2. There are certainly good reasons to "remember the poor"... a. Those who do are blessed by the Lord - Psa 41:1-3 b. God has chosen the poor to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom - James 2:5 3. What can we do to remember the poor...? a. Give liberally to the church, for the benefit of needy Christians b. Give liberally to charitable organizations, to help others who may be in need Let's honor God and glorify Christ by remembering the poor... "Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith." - Gal 6:10 Our website address is found here at http://www.freewebs.com/winfreeministries / ApostleJWinfree01@aol.com & jawin05@sbcglobal.net
