I love Native American culture and I find myself including this in my writing. Book #1 includes the Maidu Indians. Book #2 (in process)is set on the Blackfeet Indian reservation in Montana. Other than writing and a passion for the Native people and culture, I love scrapbooking, gardening, photography, and being outdoors.

Powwow music - love the drumming and songs. Love Christian and country music. Favorite Native American bands are Broken Walls and Sayani. Favorite Christian musicians include Chris Tomlin, Natalie Grant, and Rebecca St. James. Too many country artists to name, but I have to mention George Strait, Garth Brooks, and Reba McIntyre.

About me:
I'm a native Californian borned and raised in rural Sonoma County about sixty miles north of San Francisco. Been married for 24 years and have one daughter whom we adopted as a newborn. Michelle is our 15 year anniversary present! We moved up to Shasta County about 5 years ago to escape the crazy traffic of the Bay Area. Now we live way out in the sticks in a town without a gas station. Rush hour traffic around here is when there's more than one car you pass between "town" and home. I am a published author with one book so far as my claim to fame. I am a late bloomer - if I'd only quit dilly-daddling around, I would have realized that this talent I have is a God-given gift a long time ago, and not a hobby. I'm only getting started - there are many more books to come.

Who I'd like to meet:
Other people who love the Lord and love to read wholesome books, particularly romances, but without the steamy *cough* scenes. I like to write about God's love and how He brings two people together for His glory.

2 Cor. 3:18...And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
2 Cor. 4:18 : So we fix our eye not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
Earthly eyes see the one outside the mirror. Spiritual eyes see the "One" within. Whose reflection do you see in the mirror?
An example might be....,"Earthly eyes searching or looking"....Mirror mirror on the wall....I'm weak....the Lion in the mirror would reply....yes, alone "you" are...keep your eyes on Me. 2 Cor. 12:9 My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness. Whisper... In admitting our weakness, we affirm Gods strength! "Spiritual eyes seeing".... Mirror mirror on the wall....I see your strength in my weakness.***v.10***
Another example might be...mirror mirror on the wall....I don't fit in. The Lion in the mirror would reply....Eph. 2:19-22, Col. 2:10, 1 Cor. 12:18,19-30 Rom 2:11, Rom. 12:11, Col. 3:10-14, Gal. 3:26-29.
Whatever you may say or see in the mirror....Gods Word holds the truths.
Hebrews 12a...Let us fix our eyes on Jesus....

Ecc. 4:8-12b. v. 9 two are better then one...v12b A cord of three strands is not easily broken.
"The Bundle of Sticks"
An old man was about to die. He wanted to be sure his sons remembered an important lesson. He asked each of them to try to break a large bundle of sticks which was tied together. None of them could break it. Then he told them to untie the bundle and try to break each stick separately. They did this easily. Whisper....the Body of Christ is like these sticks.
Matt. 12:25..."Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand." Ecc. 4:10,
Col. 3:14...And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
