I am a bi-vocational minister. I decided a long time ago that faith without works is dead you get out of it what you put into it.
When a hectic schedule is added to the demands of work and family, the results can be a task even to the hardiest person. I work a 40-hour week (evenings) on my secular job as a supervisor in the Security Industry, sometimes sandwiching Sunday services with a brief nap in between before going to my secular job. On top of that, I preside over Tuesday night Bible study and Saturday morning evangelism outreach.
I always have my cell phone in case my congregants need me. It is not easy but it works most of the time. My days are often spent making calls or ministering to parishioners in crisis.
To succeed, yes, you must be an inspiring speaker and love people. But you should also be an inspiring human being–able to motivate people to be their best selves, even in crisis. Surprisingly, what’s required is an unquestioning faith in God.

Earthly Battles, Spiritual Victory
A vulture nearby of a fallen, wounded one, waits and watches for their demise. Soon others gather and join in. One may go and peck to hurry the process along.
Are you one who is being watched, pointed at, accused, or know another is waiting, wanting, or adding to your fall or to fail.

I can just see it now, a vulture informs God, "Did you see what Brown Eagle just did?" Christ sitting at the right hand of the Father leans over and whispers to God: "Brown Eagle is mine, it's already been paid for, she's covered. "Then God looks down and He doesn't see me, but sees the blood of Christ.

My Prayer for you this day and all days...
Lord Jesus, You are the God of all, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love You and keep your commandments. Every good and perfect gift comes to us from Your hand.
I ask that you would bless My Precious Brothers and Sisters in Christ... right now. That You would fill their homes with Your peace, and blanket them with Your Presence. Give them wisdom to make the right decisions in every situation, so that You can prosper them. Give them favor in all of their relationships, with family, friends and coworkers. Open up doors of opportunity before them and fill their lives with purpose.
Let them find joy in every day, even in the smallest things. Let your spirit rest on each of them... and bless everything they do. According to Your word, surround them with Your favor as with a shield, and guard their going out and their coming in. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and empower them to walk in the fullness of their destinies
