Currently,Sherry has been blessed with the lead role as Ruth in "The Book of Ruth" movie. Filming has commenced and should complete by 2009. This is a full feature movie and has a full star cast. Carman will play the part of Boaz along with other notable actors/actresses.

She also spends much of her time writing, singing and recording songs as she has a passion for music with the desire to make a difference in the world and those around her.

Sherry has been singing since the early age of two and recorded a gospel album when she was 15. Her music is a blend of jazz, country, rock, blues and a lot of soul.

The first music CD, “On the Wings…” is comprised of 10 songs that Sherry wrote reflecting life experiences that will drive the music deep in your heart.

Her second music CD, “Setting the Standard, On the Wings II” includes many of the favorite hymn songs that so many of us grew up on but with a new sound that everyone will love.

Working on her third CD with the likes of Tony Smith down in Nashville, she is hoping to complete it in early 2007. This CD is more pop and has one song most will recognize – “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”. The rest of the CD is comprised of some songs Sherry has either written or co-written and the recording studio threw in a few of their original favorites as well.

As songwriter, Sherry has been involved in co-writing songs with Brad Coleman of California. Most of these songs have a country pop sound.

Sherry has performed the songs as demo’s placing them out in the music market. She has performed many concerts over the years in the lower 48 and has spread her music overseas in Jamaica, Israel, Turkey and Greece.

While singing in concerts across the land, Sherry is as “real” on the stage as off the stage.
