Music Red, Pillar, Skillet, Toby Mac, DC Talk, Mercy Me, Joy Williams, and Michael W. Smith, Don Fransisco and Michael English. I enjoy Gospel, Contemporary, Southern Gospel, Christian pop, Rock, and Instrumental.
Movies The Passion of The Christ, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, One Night With The King, August Rush, The Nativity Story, Facing The Giants, The Ultimate Gift, Peaceful Warrior, The Last Sin Eater.
The Movies that I watch reflect my passion and desire for The Lord, and His work on the earth. I love movies that teach, and have good moral standards and that show how anyone can overcome odds and be victorious through Jesus Christ!

I do believe that we can invite the wrong spirits in our homes, when we watch the wrong things. We have to guard our eye gates and our ear gates, and watch the things we say!
Books The Bible! The Bible is my favorite! But I want to also let you know, that if you haven't already done so, please read the book "THE SHACK" by William P. Young It will bless your life incredibly!

Take My moments and my days, let them flow in ceaseless praise
Take My hands, and let them move at the impulse of they love

Take My love my Lord I pour at thy feet its treasure store

Isa 61:1-3
1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

Growing in Grace

Are you one who doesn't see within.... spiritual growth?

Php 1:6 being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Going through a new season of growing pains... sometimes it is hard for us to see the growth and change. One can only sense the soils restrictions... limits set by earthly weight and even by ones own self. Breaking through the soil...may be painful at times. The outcome from a new emergence we long to see.

We need to rest in the soil under the Son, because it is God who is watching and waiting for us to bloosom. It is the Lords purposes and plans that are preparing us. We need to "rest" on Php 1:6 that He (not I) who began a good work...(He not I) will carry it on....to completion.

Lord, bless my friends today I pray, Wherever they may be; And help them as they go their way, To keep their trust in Thee. Lord, hear each prayer they raise to Thee, And dry each falling tear; And hover o'er them constantly, For treasured friends are dear. Surround them with Thy mercy, Lord, Protect them by Thy power; And let them feel Thy presence, Lord, In every lonely hour. Stand by them when the road is steep, And no one seems to care; Thy arm of love around them keep, And whisper You are there. And give them strength to bear the cross, As through this vale they go; And stand by them in every loss, That they meet here below.

To the church of Thessalonica, Paul wrote these words: "Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace.... The Lord be with you all" (I Thess. 3:6).
At first, it struck me as strange to pray that the Lord would be with us. Isn't He always with us? Paul himself told the Athenians that we "live, and move, and have our being" in God. "He is not far from every one of us" (see Acts 17, the sermon in Athens). But Paul's prayers remind me of the vast difference between His "being there" as a sort of atmosphere and His being there as a friend who walks in company with us.
In his Ephesian prayer, Paul prayed "that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith." This is my prayer for you. That you would walk with God. That by faith, you would reach out and find that Christ is truly "Emmanuel" — truly with you. As Paul wrote in Ephesians 3:18, "that we might be filled with all the fullness of God."

The Native American Indians in our simplicity, are taught to literally give away all that we have--to relatives, to guests of other tribes or clans, but above all to the poor and the aged, from whom we can hope for no return.

Matthew 6:3... But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret.

When out gardening with my husband...the meanings of Matt. 6:3 kept running through my mind. I understood what the Lord was trying to teach..but the Lord took it a little further with me that day...a deeper insight...(whisper...as Pamela would call it a light bulb moment)...Maybe also our giving should be so automatic...that there is no time, thought, questioning...even b4 our other hand realizes what is being let go of....just do it. Release...give...let go.

out of reach

Matt. 25:31-37...Then the righteous will answer Him, Lord, "WHEN DID WE SEE" You hungry and feed you, or give You drink when you were thirsty, invite You in as a stranger, clothed You, visit You when You were sick or in prison? Verse 40..The King will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." Acts 20:35, 2 Cor. 9:7, Proverbs 21:26

Whisper...could "be in secret" also include ones self?
