The first thing I think about when I'm asked who I am is that I am a child of God. I am a christian, but When I say, "I am a Christian" I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin'." I'm whispering "I was lost, now I'm found and forgiven." When I say, "I am a Christian" I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide. When I say, "I am a Christian" I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on. When I say, "I am a Christian" I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess. When I say, "I am a Christian" I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it. When I say, "I am a Christian" I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches so I call upon His name. When I say, "I am a Christian" I'm not holier than thou, I'm just a simple sinner who received God's good grace somehow. The second thing I think of is that I am a Homeschool Mom. I have been homeschooling my two teenagers for 6 years now. My daughter just graduated with an Academic Diploma. That makes me feel old, sad and lonely. My son will be a Sophomore this coming year and I will have three last years of schooling with him. That makes me feel happy, excited and grateful. To be able to teach and spend time with your children is an honor. I am married to a wonderful man and we just celebrated 20 great married years together. My husband and I Foster Parented for 5 years and we have had more than 15 children in our home throughout the 5 years. I am a Mom, Teacher and Referee at home, along with a list of other titles Moms are known for. I enjoy being with my family and doing things for them. Outside of home I have a job in which I am an Optical Technician in which I am an Assistant to an Optometrist.I have a Nephew in the Army serving in Iraq. He is like a son to me. I have so much to be thankful to God for. I usually can get along with most people because of the outgoing spirit God blessed me with. I don't like it when people gossip and talk about others, especially people who profess to be a Christian. I believe the fruits of the spirit should show in all our lives. I am content with my life.

The Native American Indians in our simplicity, are taught to literally give away all that we have--to relatives, to guests of other tribes or clans, but above all to the poor and the aged, from whom we can hope for no return.
Matthew 6:3... But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret.
When out gardening with my husband...the meanings of Matt. 6:3 kept running through my mind. I understood what the Lord was trying to teach..but the Lord took it a little further with me that day...a deeper insight...(whisper...as Pamela would call it a light bulb moment)...Maybe also our giving should be so automatic...that there is no time, thought, questioning...even b4 our other hand realizes what is being let go of....just do it. Release...give...let go.

Matt. 25:31-37...Then the righteous will answer Him, Lord, "WHEN DID WE SEE" You hungry and feed you, or give You drink when you were thirsty, invite You in as a stranger, clothed You, visit You when You were sick or in prison? Verse 40..The King will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." Acts 20:35, 2 Cor. 9:7, Proverbs 21:26

Whisper...could "be in secret" also include ones self?
