in iowa we call it a back squat!
no a dead lift is when u have the bar at your feet, there are some special bars where it's made 100% for the dead lift, the bar has a cirle around u, and handles, then spots for the weights, and what u do is bend down, hold it, and then u stand up, and like lift it!
know what i mean?
