I'm just a 16 year old girl, living in this very imperfect world, where even though theres hate, war, poverty, suffering and everything else, theres still beauty to be found. My heart belongs to Jesus. My Savior, my Father, my best friend. The One I can tell all my secrets to. The One who comforts me when I'm sad. The One who takes me back every time I stray, and forgives me everytime I screw up. Ever met Him? If not, I'd love to tell you about Him, just ask :)
I'm just a girl trying her best to serve her Lord. Trying to lose my selfishness, pride, and anger. Trying to cope in the place I live, amongst people I am the complete opposite of, because I know God put me here for a reason. I'm just a girl learning new things everyday, whether about life, death, love, or God, I'm learning all the time. I'm just a girl trying to befriend the friendless, reach the lost, and encourage people who are hurting. I am completely amazed with life, I have come to realize that life is amazing, though we hardly ever take the time to notice. I'm just amazed with everything in this world, and I can find beauty everywhere, even in the simplest things. Too many people take life for granted, and decide they want to be selfish, when we are so lucky to have been given the chance to live. I came up with sort of a motto I guess you'd call it lol; "Thankfulness is loving life 'cause you know you're lucky that you've been given the chance to live it". I'm a vegetarian, I love animals, I'm very goofy, very weird, very random. I try my best not to judge people. I sponsor a boy in Africa through Compassion, which is a great ministry, www.compassion.com. I LOVE photography, I have an album with all my photos on myspace, and you can see them if you go to myspace.com/mello2342. I also write poetry, If you wanna read it theres some in my blogs, and the rest is on my website: www.freewebs.com/forevermello. I started writing poetry because God wanted me to. He started putting things on my heart that He wanted me to say, and He wants me to say it through poetry. There are a few things I want to accomplish through my poetry. 1) I want to tell people about Jesus. And 2) I want to give people hope and encouragement.
