About me:
If you are a woman out there and you’re hurting, feeling alone,
lonely, unloved, maybe unlovable, unworthy of love, maybe you feel
that nobody understands. Let me tell you, though you are hurting,
you are not alone. Someone does understand and does love you.
Jesus loves you. Jesus understands. I know that for many of you it may be hard to conceive that Jesus does understand you and does love you, even though the bible tells us that He loves us unfailingly and forever. But let me also tell you that I understand and I love you.I really do. I have been where a lot of you are and I have felt the way a lot of you do.
If you are a woman and you have been raped once, twice or maybe multiple times as I have, I know that pain.
If you are a woman and you were abused as a child, beaten,badmouthed, rejected as I was, I know that pain.
If you have been abused in relationships, badly abused as I have been, I know that pain.
If you have lost children or loved ones as I have, I know that pain.
If you have wrecked marriages or had your marriage wrecked through adultery as I have, I know that pain.
If you have turned your back on God, as I have many times and for many reasons, I know that pain also. And yes it does cause a pain inside us when we turn away from God. But you know what? You can turn your back and try to run away from Him, but you cannot out run His love for you. He loves you as He loves me, “unfailingly and forever”.
I’m sure that many of you out there have gone through more than I, but I’m also sure that all of you have pain that relates to the pain I’ve had. I have been through many things. I have experienced a lot of different pains, but God has brought me through them all.
When I say that I don’t simply mean that He allowed me to live through them, I mean that He has taken the pain from me. They no
longer control me. He brought me through.
Even though He had brought me through all of this I still couldn’t accept that He loved me.
Sometimes it’s harder for us to believe that God loves us than it is to believe He loves others. I know it was for me. I knew the bible said He loves me but I couldn’t
accept it. My heart didn’t really believe it, because I knew me. I knew my shame, my faults, my failures and my pain. Then one night as I was praying God put a picture in my head of women that had been hurt or that had hurt others, women with a deep pain in their hearts.
He asked me if I thought He loved them, my answer was “yes”.
He asked, “but don’t you think their sins are too great for Me to love them”? I answered “no”. then He asked me, “if I can love them cant I also love you”? my heart answered, “yes”.
So you see I know the Lord loves you, because He loves me and I know He loves me, because He loves you. He loves us all unfailingly and forever.
